Lorentz Dynamics Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer building small, high-performance brushless DC (BLDC) motors for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and related defense platforms. We were founded to address a critical vulnerability in the U.S. defense supply chain: the majority of small drone motors on the market today are sourced from adversarial nations.
We are building a domestic, NDAA-aligned motor manufacturing capability from the ground up — purpose-built machinery, non-adversarial magnet sourcing, and a production model designed to scale with U.S. drone demand.
What we build
Motor Subassembly
Stator core assembly, stator winding, magnet bonding, rotor balancing, and final motor assembly.
Motor Testing
Performance validation for small BLDC motors (<50mm) built for UAS propulsion applications.
Domestic Magnet Sourcing
Actively qualifying U.S. and allied-nation magnet suppliers for full supply chain traceability.
Built around non-adversarial sourcing
Lorentz Dynamics is being built from day one around domestic and non-adversarial sourcing. We are actively qualifying U.S. and allied-nation magnet suppliers — directly addressing the sourcing requirements now being written into U.S. defense procurement programs.
